Kim is advancing the work of the National Christian Foundation, California, in Southern California. As a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®), she brings over two decades of experience in corporate consulting leadership and ministry leadership to the NCF team. Passionate about maximizing resources for God’s kingdom, Kim influences others to steward their time, talents, and treasures with intentionality and impact.
In her role, Kim guides individuals, families, and organizations in strategically investing their charitable dollars through non-profit grants. She also works with Impact Foundation to support givers interested in impact investing through their donor-advised funds.
Kim has a background in benefits consulting, specializing in defined contribution plans—specifically 401(k) plans—and holds both real estate and insurance licenses. She earned a Master’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Southern Methodist University, a BA in Political Science with a Business Emphasis from UCLA, and a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (C.E.B.S.) designation from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining NCF, she worked in business development with Gloo, the technology company serving as the campaign hub for the He Gets Us campaign.
Deeply committed to faith-based leadership, Kim served as a teaching leader at Saddleback Church for The Journey, a women’s study program. She is also passionate about Women Doing Well, helping women discover their purpose, passions, and generosity plan. A former MOPS speaker, she authored Virtually New for Virtually Nothing: Maximizing Your Resources for Today’s Challenging Economic Times.
Kim and her husband, Carl, currently live in North San Diego as empty-nesters. They share a love for international travel and influence, with their four children and their spouses spread from east to west coasts. Kim enjoys time at the beach and the mountains, as well as creating beauty through interior design and floral design. Her favorite motto is “You can’t outgive God”.
