Kim is advancing the work of the National Christian Foundation, California, in San Diego and also serving in Orange County. She is a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®), and brings over two decades of experience in corporate consulting leadership and ministry leadership to the NCF team. Kim is passionate about maximizing resources for God’s kingdom and helping others to do the same with their time, talents and treasures. She loves to connect people with one another, in order to help to broaden their relationships and to advance the Kingdom.
She managed a large team at Hewitt Associates (Alight Solutions), and oversaw the team who serviced the 401(k) plan for their inaugural defense contractor client of 150,000 employees. Kim holds a Master’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Southern Methodist University, a BA in Political Science/Business Emphasis Program from UCLA, and her Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (C.E.B.S.) designation, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Her most recent role was in business development with the company, Gloo, the tech company who serves as the campaign hub for the “He Gets Us Campaign.”
Kim served as a teaching leader at Saddleback Church and continued her love for international travel and influence by bringing the gospel overseas to places such as China, Africa, Israel, western Europe, and Central America.
Kim and her husband, Carl, currently live in North San Diego as empty nesters. Their four children (three daughters and a son) are spread throughout the US, with their youngest daughter residing in San Diego. Kim enjoys time at the beach and the mountains, beautiful places, and creating beauty through interior design and floral design.
Kim is grateful for the opportunity to be able to introduce more people on the west coast to NCF. She believes in the concept of generosity and how you can’t “outgive God.” A frequent speaker to MOPS groups when her kids were little, she wrote a book called, Virtually New for Virtually Nothing: Maximizing Your Resources for Today’s Challenging Economic Times.
