Paul (“Woz”) has the heart, mindset, and values of a pastor, and three decades of experience as a business, tax, and financial consultant. He is using his God-given gifts and talents to help philanthropically inclined individuals, trustees, and business owners get substantially more out of their donations by structuring transactions to improve the economics and save taxes.

Paul earned his BA (accounting major) from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, his CFP from the College for Financial Planning, and his JD (tax emphasis) from Pepperdine University School of Law. Upon graduating from law school, he launched a successful business, tax, and financial consulting practice. Over the course of three decades, Paul built expertise in doing the sophisticated research required to solve complex problems across multiple disciplines. In addition to his role as a consultant, he assumed interim leadership roles on behalf of his clients, including positions of CEO and CFO. He also has considerable experience serving on, leading, and reporting to boards.

He has attended Mariners Church in Irvine, CA for over four decades, where he has served as chairman of the Board of Elders, chairman of the Board of Trustees, and interim lead pastor, providing leadership to bring two churches together in one of the largest church mergers in America. Paul is currently involved in the Mariners Church Men’s Ministry, where he enjoys leading, teaching, mentoring, and discipling other men.

Paul has authored and published two books about the Bible, Shabua Days and Shabua Millennium, and has been the featured guest on numerous radio, podcast, YouTube, and television programs, as well as a conference speaker. He has been married to the love of his life, Gail, since 1985. They have three children and four grandchildren. He enjoys exercise and physical fitness. You will often find him at the gym, on the pickleball court, or at the local high school stadium running the stairs.
