Verne Murray is a native Californian, born and raised in Oakland in the San Francisco Bay Area. He attend The University of Southern California and has been married to his wife Melody for 38 years. They have two children Natalie and Jordan, both married and they have four grandchildren. Verne retired as a Senior Vice President after a 35 year career in Investment Banking and Mortgage Banking working initially in a firm in which he became a partner, and was later sold to Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse. He finished his career in Walnut Creek working for Walker & Dunlop. He specialized in large Multi-Family loan origination both conventional and tax exempt. He and his partner grew the Walnut Creek Office of Walker & Dunlop into the top producing office in the country. Verne enjoys flying, mountain biking, pickle ball and working passionately in the area of Christian philanthropy, helping generous donors access all of the tools and techniques to assist them in their giving journey.
